Krenée Alisha Tolson (Founder/CEO) is a producer, writer, and actress from Baltimore, MD. who fell in love with storytelling through listening to her family reminiscence on the past through oral history. After graduating with a degree in Theatre from DePaul University in 2012, she launched her career in entertainment as a theatre actress in Chicago. After a few years of working with new playwrights and devising theatrical pieces, she decided to fully pursue her dreams of being a multi-hyphenate filmmaker. She received her MFA in Producing for Film/TV and New Media from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, Peter Stark Producing Program.

In 2018 Krenée received the Saul Zaentz Innovation Fund Production Grant for her debut short film Finding Phoebe. The film has since been developed into a feature through the Black List Feature Residency Program. Krenée is a Bumble Female Force Prize Winner, a 2019 Women in Film INSIGHT Fellow, and a part of the Tribeca Through Her Lens 2022 cohort.

Currently, Krenée runs a multi-media production studio in Inglewood, CA., and is in development on her first narrative feature-length film Finding Phoebe (the feature), and The Queen, The Knight, and The Witch—A comedic think piece directed by Letia Solomon.
